CORRUGATED BACK MOULDER AND SHAPER HEADS

Corrugated-back heads are much safer than slick-back heads and are OSHA approved. They are generally used as a multi-purpose tool body that can accommodate many different profiled HSS knives. In order to prevent slipping on the machine arbor (mainly moulders), the heads can be built with a self-centering sleeve, Hydro-Lock® system, or an ETP® (self-contained) hydraulic sleeve. These three solutions provide superior gripping force and also reduce radial run-out for less vibration and smoother cuts!

Straight and patterned, corrugated-back moulder heads can be used for exterior and interior doors, flooring, and general millwork applications. Specialized corrugated-back heads are used in demanding applications such as machining components for log homes.
